What is Arthritis?

Arthritis is a disorder that causes inflammation of the joints and is often accompanied by chronic pain.

There are numerous forms of arthritis, the most common being Osteoarthritis and Rheumatoid Arthritis.

These two forms of arthritis along with many others, for example, Scleroderma, Spondylitis or Gout, can be dealt with very effectively using the Viofor JPS System.

Rheumatoid arthritis – affects women more than men and results in hot, swollen joints since the body’s own immune system mistakenly attacks its own body tissues. Rheumatoid arthritis causes inflammation of the tissue around the joints as well as around other organs in the body. Patients usually get one attack, then they may experience long periods without symptoms before getting another attack. The damage can’t be reversed, although, with our treatment, some of the painful symptoms can be dramatically reduced.

Osteoarthritis – Osteoarthritis is caused by the breakdown and eventual loss of the cartilage that serves as a "cushion" between the bones of the joints. It is a slow deterioration of the joints, as opposed to the hot and inflamed joints from rheumatoid arthritis. The onset is gradual, often deteriorating with age, because of the weakening of the joints. With treatment, the patient can get some improvement.

Joints get inflamed in both conditions and it is the inflammation that causes the damage. Synovial fluid, which is a fluid within the joint which assists in the lubrication and nutrition of the joint, changes chemically to attack the cartilage and the sacs around the joints. Once the cartilage is gone, then bone scrapes on bone...and that can be very painful.
Treatment of Osteoarthritis and Rheumatoid Arthritis with the Viofor JPS System.

Because of the differences between these two conditions, treatment with our Viofor JPS system varies.

With osteoarthritis, the treatment is hard and fast to reverse the natural deterioration of tissues.

With rheumatoid arthritis, the treatment is more gentle, aiming for progressive recovery between arthritic attacks.

Directly after treatment joints might feel strange at first. This is because of changes in lubrication. Because of the way the treatment works, healing continues for up to eight hours after application, so an improvement may be felt in the symptoms some time later.

The treatment is safe because no foreign bodies are being introduced and the level of magnetic induction is low.

It is also important to note that the smaller the joint (e.g. hand/finger joints as opposed to hip joints), then the faster the response times after treatment.
